Golf on Tour

Top two showdown

What better way to finish a PGA Tour event than a shoot-out between the world’s top two players?

Dustin Johnson, World No. 1, needed to nail a winding 43-foot putt over a ridge on the final hole to force a playoff… And he did. The putt lasted an incredible 10 seconds.

World No. 2 Jon Rahm must’ve felt sick heading out for the first playoff hole. If he did, he hid it well. The Spaniard made DJ’s miracle putt look mediocre as he sunk one from 66-feet for victory. That’s what I call pinch-yourself golf!

Rain, rain, rain go away...

Last week certainly felt like it turned from summer to autumn with torrential rain causing us to close the course last week. I think these pictures paint a picture as to why. Let's hope that the next couple of months a drier and we can end the season on a high. Let's pray for an Indian Summer.

Pairing you with your perfect irons

We mentioned last week that you may want one or two hybrids to replace your longer irons because they’re more forgiving. This week, we’re putting irons under the microscope. Ask yourself: How do they slot into my full set of clubs?
