Course update
At the end of February, you may have noticed two large blue sprayed areas on the 2nd hill, and by the 8th tee. These areas have been sprayed to kill off the grass, and then once it is dead, we will rotavate the areas to sow wild flower mixes. Once these areas are established, they will be designated as “No Go Areas” and will be clearly outlined with blue stakes. If your ball enters then you are entitled to a free drop, we also would prefer it if you didn’t go inside the areas in search for your ball. Our Spring hollow coring week is due to commence from Monday, 25 March. As usual, we will try our best to get the work done as quickly as possible, and with the least amount of disruption to your round. All greens will have an application of two different fertilisers to promote recovery around this time. In the meantime, please can you remember to repair your pitchmarks. Every morning we notice more and more being left unrepaired. Many thanks Mat |
