This picture was taken on Sunday morning during the Turkey Trot next to the first green. Please take care on the course and stay away from the green surrounds. Congratulations!
Well done to Martin Nicholls and Dave Waters on winning the annual Turkey Trot. The club would like to thank the 42 pairs who took part.
Santa!
The Ladies were treated to a visit from Santa this week. 42 Ladies came to the annual Ladies Christmas Party which was hosted by our Lady Captain, Margaret Bunton. Thank you to everyone that contributed to a wonderful afternoon.
The gift that keeps on giving
We'd guess that most people prefer to receive something tangible for Christmas, certainly where golf is concerned. A voucher may be well received, but does it beat opening a box and getting a new driver?
However, there are some gifts that will just keep on giving. What if we told you next year you have the potential to enjoy your best ever season on the course? You can make that happen by booking a course of lessons for 2016; even better, ask that special someone to book them for you, what with it being Christmas and everything.
We're happy to take lesson requests from family and friends and working out a way of helping you improve next year, just get in touch here. Yes, it may be more exciting unwrapping a fancy new putter on Christmas Day, but a course of lessons may take your game to a whole new level next year.
